Choosing roof steam cleaning equipment starts with the roof covering and the site. A low spray setting does not replace an inspection of the tiles or a small trial area.
Record the site conditions first
Note the material, age and condition of the covering, roof pitch, access, hose reach, water supply and available power. Compare working temperature, flow and pressure with the intended nozzle. Output achieved on another roof is not a performance promise for this one.
- Trial a small area at the proposed settings and working distance.
- Plan for water run-off and safe work at height.
- Check autonomy, wear parts, maintenance and support.
A guide for equipment buyers
This page concerns professional equipment selection. A façade has different finishes and sensitivities; use the separate guide rather than transferring roof settings without a test.
