When a bespoke build is the right call

The space dictates it: a narrow room, a crawl space, a gap between buildings or the void under an existing structure. A long or square format uses what you actually have.
Headroom is limited: low-profile models work from around 80 cm, but the relationship between height, footprint and volume has to be calculated.
The liquid is specific: hydrocarbons, slurry, fertiliser or products calling for a particular membrane.
The connections are unusual: position of the tappings, bore sizes, number of outlets, or couplings imposed by existing pipework.
The volume is not standard: a regulatory capacity that no catalogue model meets exactly.

Available footprint	Length, width and shape of the space, including existing obstructions.
Headroom	Particularly critical in an enclosed room, a crawl space or under a structure.
Connections	Filling, draw-off, overflow: position, bore sizes and coupling type.
Access	The opening available to bring the folded tank in — and to reach the fittings afterwards.

How the project runs

Site review: you send dimensions, liquid, volume and constraints.
Technical proposal: format, membrane, tappings and accessories, with a detailed quotation.
Sign-off: dimensions are confirmed before manufacture begins.
Manufacture: fabricated in our French workshop to the approved drawing.
Delivery and commissioning: the tank arrives folded; filling progressively lets you check the whole installation.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lead time on a bespoke tank?

It depends on the format, the membrane and the time of year. The lead time is confirmed with the quotation, once dimensions are signed off. Tell us your target date at first enquiry.

Does bespoke cost significantly more?

Not necessarily. Price follows capacity, membrane and the number of tappings, rather than the fact of being made to measure. In a constrained space it usually costs less than abandoning the project or building in concrete.

Can you build for a liquid other than water?

Yes, within the compatibility limits of the available membranes. Give us the exact nature of the product and, if you have one, its safety data sheet — that is what lets us confirm feasibility.
