Description

This galvanised steel tank is built as a 100 m³ water reserve, for rainwater storage, agricultural irrigation, supplementary fire-water or a process reserve. It answers a very practical need: holding a large volume in a rigid, durable, inspectable reserve that can be configured to the site.

25-year warranty on the structure

Bolted corrugated galvanised steel panels, designed for a rigid above-ground reserve.

7-year warranty on the liner

PVC internal liner providing the tank’s watertightness, configured to how the water will be used.

2-year warranty on the fittings

Fittings, flanges, valves, strainers and accessories according to the configuration chosen.

What requirement does this steel tank meet?

Water storage

Rainwater harvesting, irrigation, technical reserve, raw water storage or feeding a secondary system.

Fire-water reserve

Can be configured for external fire-fighting supply, according to local requirements and the equipment specified.

Constrained site

A rigid solution worth considering where footprint, mechanical strength, access or durability come first.

This model makes particular sense for projects wanting a large volume without going straight to a 120 m³ reserve.

What Flocea checks before quoting

  1. The usable volume needed and the safety margin, based on real use.
  2. Diameter, height and the footprint available on site.
  3. Ground type, slab, delivery access and assembly area.
  4. Connections: filling, overflow, draining, suction, stainless flanges and valves.
  5. Any fire-water requirements: the authority’s specification, frost-protected suction, hydrant or fire-brigade coupling.
Important: for a fire-water reserve, final compliance depends on local requirements. Flocea can prepare the technical configuration, but the requirement itself has to be agreed with the relevant authority wherever the project falls under fire-water rules.

Why choose galvanised steel rather than a pillow tank?

A galvanised steel tank is more visible and needs careful ground preparation, but it gives a rigid structure, good mechanical strength and, at large volumes, often a more compact footprint. It is frequently specified for farms, local authorities, industrial estates, fire-water reserves and any installation where a durable, inspectable, configurable solution is wanted.
