Booster Sets
Booster sets that stabilise flow and pressure across your installation. Pump and diaphragm vessel combined: water is stored under pressure and delivered on demand, without the pump starting every time a tap opens.

What a booster set actually does
It does not increase the amount of water available — it steadies how that water is delivered. It is the answer when pressure is inadequate at the outlet, when flow drops as soon as a second tap opens, or when a domestic system is fed from a tank or a well.
The diaphragm vessel is the key component: it absorbs demand variation and stops the pump short-cycling, which is what shortens its life.
Benefits
- Higher and steadier pressure throughout the installation
- Consistent flow even with several outlets open at once
- Fewer motor starts: lower consumption and longer service life
- Automatic operation via pressure switch
Points to check
- Vessel pre-charge pressure: must be matched to the pump cut-in pressure. It is the most common cause of short cycling.
- Vessel volume: the larger it is, the fewer starts and the better the comfort in use.
- Flow required: count the outlets that may realistically be open together.
- Water source: mains, well or tank, with the corresponding suction lift.
Frequently asked questions
The pump keeps starting and stopping — why?
Almost always an incorrect vessel pre-charge pressure, or a punctured diaphragm. Check that first, before suspecting the pressure switch or the pump.
Can it be fed from a pillow tank?
Yes, provided the suction lift and pipe bore are respected. Tell us the configuration and we will specify the set.
